Printing Technician (Open for all nationalities)

Experienced Digital Printer Technician. The candidate should have expertise in operating very large format printers (up to 3.2m) and handling digital print solutions for all university events, student projects, and marketing material. You will be responsible for producing high-quality prints for signages, kiosks, flyers, banners, books, magazines and cards etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate large format digital printers to produce signages, kiosks, flyers, banners, books, magazines and cards etc.
• Prepare and handle various print media including vinyl, fabric, and paper.
• Set up machines for specific printing jobs, including adjusting ink flow, alignment, and color calibration. Ensure color accuracy and quality control throughout the printing process.
• Collaborate with designers and end-users to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of digital printing equipment.
• Manage and prioritize print jobs to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of print materials to maintain quality.
• Identify problems quickly and efficiently during production runs to minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of sales made in the center.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with digital printing, signage and banner production, event printing etc.
• Strong understanding of design software such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and large printers/plotters.
• Ability to communicate effectively with operators and end-users.
• Basic knowledge in data entry.
