Research Content Marketer (Part-time/ 5 hours per week)

Role Overview:

The Research Content Marketer plays a pivotal role in curating and disseminating valuable research-related content for Ajman University. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and a passion for driving knowledge-sharing within the academic community. The Research Content Marketer collaborates with researchers, faculty, students and graduates to ensure that relevant research insights reach the designated teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Curation:
    • Research Discovery: Actively search for research papers, articles, studies, and scholarly content related to Ajman University’s academic disciplines. Stay informed about the latest advancements and breakthroughs.
    • Filtering and Selection: Evaluate the quality, relevance, and impact of research content. Filter out noise and select materials that align with the university’s strategic goals.
    • Curate and Organize: Create curated collections of research content, ensuring accessibility and ease of navigation for designated teams.
  2. Collaboration with Researchers:
    • Engagement: Collaborate with faculty members, researchers, and graduate students. Understand their research interests and ongoing projects.
    • Research Spotlight: Develop content that showcases ground-breaking research, innovations, and academic achievements.
  3. Content Creation and Distribution:
    • Written Content: Write summaries, abstracts, and digestible versions of research papers. Adapt complex concepts into accessible language.
    • Multimedia Formats: Explore diverse formats—blogs, infographics, podcasts, and videos—to present research findings.
    • Newsletters and Alerts: Regularly compile and distribute research updates to designated teams via internal communication channels.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of academic research processes and terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
