SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Recording & covering all kind of activities that held in the University.
  • Explaining & Training students in recording & directing fields.
  • Editing student's projects.
  • Preparing & maintaining the equipment in the Studio.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Explaining all the difficulties for students in recording, editing & directing in practical way.
  • Training students practically on using all kind of equipment in the Studio, including cameras, linear and non-linear video editing, and sound equipment.
  • Recording & Covering all types of activities, meetings, and ceremonies (educational, cultural, social and sports ... etc.) either internal or external.
  • Storing the recorded material in the archive of the college to be handled upon request.
  • Preparing and maintaining all of the available equipment in the studios.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

SUPERVISION:

Report directly to Studio Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Radio & TV from Ajman University.

 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of motion graphic design software.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare and print routine correspondence, labels, and/or other basic written material.
  • Skill in the use of operating studio equipment.
  • Records maintenance skills.
  • Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Ability to work in a team and the ability to work independently, proficiency in computers and previous office experience is essential.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/studio work environment.
  • No or very limited physical effort required.
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
