Full Time Post-Doctoral Research Associate (Digital Transformation Research Center)

The Digital Transformation Research Center / College of Business Administration, Ajman University, has an opening for the position of Full Time Post-Doctoral Research Associate.

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A PhD in business and management from a reputable university
• An active research record in the areas of business and management as evidenced by publications in refereed journals and at conferences
• Record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research would be an advantage
• An excellent record of teaching experience and student evaluations
• Adequate experience in supervising student projects and thesis papers

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct high quality research related to business and management and/or digital transformation in particular; publish research outcomes in refereed journals and conferences
• Actively seek and apply for internal and external research grants
• Actively seek and conduct collaborative research
• Perform other position-related duties as requested by the head of the research center
• Develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of study
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships across the organization and community 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Ability to conduct independent research and publish in referred journals and conferences
• Familiarity with data collection approaches such questionnaire survey and/or semi-structured interview
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as structural equation modelling and/or NVivo
• Ability to provide academic advising for students
• Ability to work independently and within a team
